Ok, here's a temporary fix, so Quartz will load with the new UI update.

Unzip the linked file into your quartz directory, DO NOT OVERWRITE ANY EXISTING FILES.

This is only a quick fix... I'm still working on the other changes, but wanted to let this update get out of the way so I knew what I was up against.

Looks like there won't be that many new hurdles.

I am also using the Quartz interface, having same problem... EQ refuses to load it at all. And the link doesn't work to get hold of that zip file... =(

Been using Quartz for years now. Perfect skin; smalll buttons & windows; straight to the point - you can actually see the hard work presented for us in this world of graphics less an eye clogging dashboard.

Go ahead and take a look at the link I posted. I is current for everything except today's patch. I will have to look at what came out and make some changes. I will update it this evening to correct for the new patch.

Here is a copy of a post that I made ont he forums for my current mods to Quartz to make it DoD compliant. I didn't modify any of the mods folders because I don't believe that they need to be changed to work correctly, but this will get you by. There are a couple of added things like a 3d targeting ring, spell book and cast window, but those can be easily removed. Here it is:

You can take a look at some of the modified fils I have at home.earthlink.net/~ikyo/Grovache.zip It has the new updated files to work with the current patch. The only major change was the addition into the hotbuttons file to allow for the additional hotbutton windows. They are still the base UI for 2-4, but 1 remains the base quartz. I added in the save option for the hotbutton 1 window too.

Rockin UI , glad your keeping it goin darkside. Just downloaded this today and put a whole new perspective of Everquest in my head. Hope ya keep this UI goin for a long time~!
