First off, awesome UI. This is by far the best UI I have seen and is exactly the kind of thing I have been looking for.

Now, I have a quick question:

Is it possible to make the exp gauges into one long gauge that displays normal experience only? It looks like the code is there but not being used, do I just need to add/remove certain "<piece></piece>" tags? If so, can you tell me which ones?

The reason I ask is because I'm going to use this UI for the progression server and there won't be AA exp there for quite awhile. Even when there is, I think I'd prefer it to be a long bar anyway (just changed to AA exp at some point) since I don't really switch between the two very often.

Anyway, I'm going to mess around with it a bit more to try to figure this out, but if or someone else could help me out that would be awesome.

Thanks for the help and thanks A LOT for the UI.

Can not get this UI working. Have been using it for a long time now, but as of the new update, I get the error loading ui message and have to use SOE's.
Any Feedback?

Remember, this UI is now using normal installation as per the readme file & make sure your animations file is up to date. The modificiation to the animations is only for the buff icons looking like the WoW icons.

This UI is now coded to use the Default folder, and NOT the Default old folder. So, no more copying un-modified files into the UI.

The quickest way to get this ui working is to follow the readme instructions included in the download EXACTLY....

That being said, is sounds like you have renamed the folder from the default name. Thats fine, but some changes have to be made elsewhere to accomodate the name change. Included in this UI is a new ini file that you should have copied out to the main EQ directory (instructions once again found in the readme). The name of the ui must be changed in this file for it to work.
Also, make sure to follow the instructions in the animation readme, (the original readme should have pointed you there).

Sorry if this seems like little help, but following the readme instructions will have this UI mod up and running in no time. I admit, it is a bit different than other mods.

BTW - Great work Drakah!! This UI mod is the bomb!

I bow to your greatness.

This is an awesome UI! You've done simply amazing on all of your UIs. I'm actually loading up EQ again just to play around with this UI. (My account is open because I play EQ2 and have the Station Access Plan, so I might as well play around with my old characters.)

I was curious if you have, or are able to create... or can explain to me how to create the self-portrait instead of using the default white tiger one. I only play my one character, whish is an Iksar Necro, and wanted to put either myself or a standard Iksar head up there.

If you can't help with this, that's ok, it's not really all that important to be honest.

Yep thats where i went wrong. For all you still interested the instruction file to edit your EQUI_Animations.xml is Update_Anim_Instructions.txt in your wow UI folder. It does appear thogh that the curson addition doesn't work any more. Looks like if you are using the animations file from default_old you can not have anything but your default windows cursor. But all the windows now have the proper title bar with the close x on it... Thanks again Drakah

Don't know why, the inventory window uses the default un-modified inventory window and does have the normal X button there. You could be using a modified Inventory window from long ago or did not patch with the "default_old" files.

Those files are un-modified.

You are welcome As much as I would like to modify more windows, it only adds a higher percentage that the UI will break on patch days.

I have the same thing, its probably related to the Animations file as well, all of th ewindows with a transparent title bar seem to be unmodified ones

Also a few of the windows, like the Inventory, or Actions windows have a slight problem that they do not line up with the sides of their windows, sort of like they stop short.

A couple of small things I have noticed, but first let me tell you I am very impressed with the work you have done, I can't imagine the time and energy you put into this. Emulating another game or not, hands down, the best UI I have ever used.

Ok, now the little things...

I found the only fix avail at the moment at his web site, basically all you need to do is copy the animation file from the default to the WoW folder, then edit it .. instructions are in a text file in your wow folder i forget the exact anme but its pretty obvious. Now my only issue is that for some reason , many of my windows have and invisible title bar and nou close button.
