- Now using new map window courtesy of Watik. As usual, the background of the map can be changed to any color: Right click on map tab, choose Background Tint Color (Note: If all you see is black background, make sure to turn off Background Texture).

I have heard of people having issues getting custom UI's working from the steam version, but not sure of how they fixed them.

Couple of things you can try:

1) Disable UAC (User Access Control)

2) Move your EQ folder to the root of your hard drive (ie: c:\Everquest)

Made a separate folder next to Default. Extracted to this folder....

/Loadskin in game brings up Default only.....

- (Tribute Benefit Window) Removed the "Opt Out" button from Guild tab. (If you want to opt out, go visit Melody).

Love this UI just wishing i could use it on my monitor. I have one of the short wide ones. So the ui takes up way to much space. My husband has a nice 19inch that it fits on great.
