EVO

DELETE THE PREVIOUS VERSION COMPLETELY BEFORE INSTALLING AN UPDATE

02/16/2017: Updated inventory window to show new mercenary stats/slots.

01/22/2017: Updated to show evasion, avoidance, etc. in the inventory window.

10/22/2016: Updated some names in XML to match what EQ is now looking for, so it doesn't say there is an error. Nothing really is changed otherwise. Removed single button pet window option, as it won't be needed in expansion with familiar auto-leave.

03/25/2016: Added more slots to blocked buffs (a while ago), the label EQTypes do not exist or they do not follow same pattern of numbers, so those will show unknown string for now, but icons etc should work fine. Extended the target window to include health/endurance/mana gauges, their percents, and current regen rate. This makes the window a bit bulky, but hopefully puts all the important info in one spot.

11/18/2015: Updated to TBM - Inventory window: removed mounts tab and added Rings button. This will take you to a new window for both mounts and illusions key rings.

05/08/2015: Reworked few windows - buffs, songs, extended target, spells. Buffs and songs extended to include spell names. Buffs show 35 slots at a time, songs 15 - at a time, use mouse scroll to see the rest. This way it fits better on 1080 resolutions. (screenshot provided is in 1440). Extended target - added role icons and hate percents. Spells - changed to a vertical layout that fits better with the other windows side by side, added spell names.

12/09/2014: Added numbers to extended target window per request.

11/08/2014: Moved top person agro counter in the target window to be in line with own agro counter. Added 3rd tab to the mercenary window with the remaining buttons (except set active, can just double click stances for that).

10/19/2014: Minor visual changes. Added few more bars to the extended target window for the upcoming AA changes.

10/15/2014: Updated few things for the next expansion, mainly new buttons/tab in the inventory window (so for now they won't do much on live). Also added current favor numbers to the player window for both guild and self.

06/04/2014: Some changes to inventory window tab order, seems like that matters for tabs like currency to work correctly. Resized pet window to be same width as the spells window. Changed target and extended target windows a bit, green bar in the target window is your health.

04/28/2014: Change spells window to be a little more compact, if you want old version just keep using the file from previous zips. Customized pet and mercenary windows. To see all buffs in the pet window hover over the buffs area and scroll up/down, same as the target window buffs. Mercenary window is fairly minimal, removed most of the buttons that are not often used. All of those mercenary actions are available through slash commands if needed.
To switch to one button pet window copy xml file from the sub folder.

04/04/2013: Added 10 song slots

03/26/2014: Some patch updates. Combined bag slot tabs in the inventory window into one tab with scroll.

02/19/2014: Updated to patch... at least as far as I can tell, still see some errors, but they seem to be about unrelated item view window.

10/15/2013: Came back to EQ few months ago, so here is the updated version.
Bank/Inventory/Tribute windows borrowed and slightly modified from other submissions here on the website.
Added agro information to the target window. Square to the left will show your agro number, next/top person on the list will be shown in the black bar area with their agro number.
Extended target window sized down a bit to fit 10 targets. Hopefully still enough information shown, mana/end never seemed useful to me so I removed it.
Resized player window to allow for ever more inflated hp/mana numbers and added guild tribute counters, now showing all 4 timers.
If you use a pet just delete the pet XML file, otherwise it will just show a single button which you can set to LEAVE for familiars.

08/16/2012: Updated container window

08/07/2012: I still do not play EQ, but updated to VoA as far as I can tell from the free play option. Let me know if certain things aren't there still. Open bag windows in inventory and bank are still only 16 slots max, let me know if current common bag sizes are bigger. I know that max is 40 atm, but not really sure how viable is it to have that many bags of this size. I will probably expand them to 20-24 eventually, but it's an annoying process Finally, some of the windows were moved/re-sized.

05/25/2011: Expanded bags to support up to 25 slots. Not really sure if it works as I do not own anything over 16 slots atm

12/15/2010: Added tribute window back, now with two buttons for normal and trophy tributes. Blocked buffs will be displayed in the same style as normal buffs are.

11/14/2010: Updated for HoT

07/02/2010: New Tribute Window. Minimal size with just personal activate button, current favor, and time remaining. Delete EQUI_TributeBenefitWnd.xml if this does not work for you.

03/15/2010: Added horizontal buff/song bars (see Addons folder)

03/10/2010: Added Extended Stats Tab to the Inventory window.

01/02/2010: Moved Stats tab in inventory window ( caused some update issues with other tabs, plus already have all the stats displayed in player window, hover and scroll to see all ). Also included new version of merchant window since SoE forgot to patch that to live servers as of yet, it is not moded by me but seems to be working including new recover feature.

12/13/2009: Added modified extended target window. Still tinkering around with it but here's 1st draft.

11/21/2009: Updated bags to show properly with current patch. Extra buff/spell slots will show up now (pending activation in Underfoot)

10/04/2009: Updated target window to make HoTT more clickable o.O and added noLabels buff window. Added smaller version of target/spellcasting windows, about half the size showing 10 buffs a row with 3 rows visible at a time. Possibly some other minor changes. Stats in player window and buffs in target window can be scrolled up and down just mouse over and scroll 8)

06/28/2009: Corrected PlayerWindow to display current mana *oops*

06/24/2009: TargetWindow now displays 2 rows of buffs for total of 28, scroll up/down to see the rest.

06/18/2009: Updated to today's patch - 2 new slots were added to spells window (both are hidden for now since they aren't active yet). Also collapsed player window to only 2 columns of stats but they are scrollable .... so scroll to see all stats n stuff And added -+ things to compass window.

06/14/2009: Added scroll to buffs in the TargetWindow. One row visible at a time. Just hover over the buffs and use scroll wheel Didn't use scroll buttons since they wouldn't hide with the rest of the window so

06/10/2009: Updated to today's patch - Added 5 new buff slots to buff, shortdurationbuffs, and petinfo windows (hidden for now since they are not active yet ... I imagine ... ) Also quite a few changes to player window and buffs windows to make them smaller. See screen shot. More changes likely to follow in the hotbutton area to slim it all down. If have some suggestions or ideas on how to do that post on ui.bloodrogue.com and I'll try to do it 8)

05/30/2009: New Versions of windows - PotionBeltWindow vertical and horizontal layouts available in small and big versions, PetWindow full size or dismiss button only for familiars, BuffsWindow 2 column layout.

05/17/2009: Small fix for potion belt window to increase click able area

02/19/2009: Corrected issue with inspect buffs on target window, 2 rows displayed by default, other versions can be found in Addons folder.

12/12/2008: Fixed potion belt window

12/10/2008: Updated to work with latest patch

11/07/2008: Corrected Volume Icon placement in group

10/21/2008: Added Merc button to selector window

10/08/2008: Per requests added Hybrid Version of PlayerWindow to Addons folder, and few versions of TargetWindows with 1/2/3/All rows of buffs or non at all.

It's just the way EQ works. Because so many slots are always visible for bank and inventory, it eats away at how many can be seen by opening the actual bags.

I've asked devs about it a few times, but they were never able to give this a fix.

Maximum bag slots exceeded?

I have bags totaling 152 inventory slots and when I open them, I can only view 142 at a time. The "Bags" tab in the inventory window shows all slots just fine. I've replaced the Inventory.xml file for the time being for a temp fix but I was wondering if you could look into this or at least point me towards which lines need edited to get all containers to show up correctly. Thanks.

Scrolling helps a bit, but you are right, its not what i am looking for, i will try and change the ui and hopefully find a solutiong for me. Thx

Well there is, but would have to edit UI a bit for that. You can however scroll through all the lines if you hover over the debuffs/buffs, although I imagine that would not be quite what you need

Is there a way to see more then 1 line of the target buffs/debuffs? I was trying to find the right spot in the EQUI_TargetWindow.xml but i had no luck

Really a great UI!

Can tell I read this often...

Easiest would be to just change EQType values for the two gauges.

File - EQUI_TargetWindow.xml
Look for line with "<Gauge item="TW_Target_HP">" (shows line number 161 for me) several lines below there will be "<EQType>6</EQType>"(line 196), that is what tells that gauge what to use for the value.
Right below is target of taget gauge "<Gauge item="TW_ToT_HP">" with "<EQType>27</EQType>" (line 241).

Swap 6 and 27 around and it will swap gauges to what you wanted. It may not look quite right I suppose.... Aside from that there are some labels that may need moving. If you look at the bottom of the file there will be bunch of lines with "<Pieces>". Those are different parts of the window, names should be somewhat easy to figure out what each is. And somewhere above there you will find a segment of code for each piece. So <Pieces>TW_Target_HP</Pieces> for <Gauge item="TW_Target_HP">. Most of them will be <Gauge... or <Label..., both types will have an <EQType... below.

Target Window

The target window has two gauges. I would like to have them swapped.
Target should be top gauge and target's target should be bottom gauge. Makes more sense for me personally. However I am unable to make that change myself in the xml.

Does anyone care to help me out?

Or maybe it's two different xml and I just need to mess with relative positions?

I was using Savok's VertUI and the Sparxx UI for quite some time. And I really liked them. Unhappily they are throwing XML errors for me. They seems to work, but I don't like getting xml errors and the last updates were sometime last year.

Then I browsed the download section once again (like so many times before) - but this time I simply sorted by "last updated". That way I noticed that about 90% of the stuff on this site is old stuff. But I also noted that EVO UI was shortly updated so I gave it a shot.

And OMG! This UI rocks! It blows everything else I've seen out of the water!
It makes my EQ experience way better! Thank you so much for it!
(I admit I swapped the spell gems bar to something else.)

Keep it up and thanks again!

Well, there is mana bar, it's just very dark >.> Don't really see a good way to wedge one in there without redoing how the group window is set up and making everything bigger. The health bar in the target window can be changed to show mana I suppose, just change EQType or add another gauge for mana next to it.

BEST UI ever

Bravo, this is the only complete set i've used because no others were close to what i wanted, and this one is perfect.... except is there a version of the player window that includes a mana bar?

No potion bar on Phinny means you don't get the big module that includes all your equipment. No way to bring it out since it's connected to the potion bar.

Recently came back and use to always use this UI. Playing on the TLP servers though, was wondering if you had the old 8 gem spellbar stuff still somewhere?

For what? Patch didn't change anything that needs to be updated as far as I can tell. This UI usually doesn't need updates unless something big changes with expansion etc.
