Instructions for installing:
Unzip all the files to your custom UI folder in your Everquest>uifiles
directory.
Be sure to use the correct spelling and capitalization for all files.
First insert the following in with your Texture info at the beginning of the
EQ_Animations file. Don't replace any of the current listings, just add a new
one anywhere in the list.
<TextureInfo item =
"Name_of_the_graphic_for_the_cursor_you_want_to_use .tga">
<Size>
<CX>50</CX>
<CY>50</CY>
</Size>
</TextureInfo>
Second find the Cursors section, it should be right below the TextureInfo
section, or do a search for "A_DefaultCursor".
It will look like this:
<!-- Cursors -->
<Ui2DAnimation item = "A_DefaultCursor">
<Cycle>true</Cycle>
<Frames>
<Texture>window_pieces01.tga</Texture>
<Location>
<X>230</X>
<Y>40</Y>
</Location>
<Size>
<CX>22</CX>
<CY>22</CY>
</Size>
<Hotspot>
<X>4</X>
<Y>1</Y>
</Hotspot>
<Duration>1000</Duration>
</Frames>
</Ui2DAnimation>
Then replace the Ui2DAnimation item with this.
<Ui2DAnimation item = "A_DefaultCursor">
<Cycle>true</Cycle>
<Frames>
<Texture>Name_of_the_graphic_for_the_cursor_you_want_to_use .tga</Texture>
<Location>
<X>0</X>
<Y>0</Y>
</Location>
<Size>
<CX>50</CX>
<CY>50</CY>
</Size>
<Hotspot>
<X>1</X>
<Y>1</Y>
</Hotspot>
<Duration>1000</Duration>
</Frames>
</Ui2DAnimation>
After that just save the EQ_Animations file to a new folder in your
EverQuest>Uifiles directory, and load the skin when you're in game.
Enjoy
