I deleted the old version from my system files and downloaded new AYA ui.

Properly transfered files to Aya folder and changed name of ui file.

copied to main directory and loaded up eq

I get the AYA layout but default graphics how do i fix please there has to be something im missing.

The trade skill bags work fine its just that when you right click to open them you need to hold the "Ctrl" key or it will just open like a normal bag (I like that a lot )

to change the invintory slots that show in bags and other places I would look at the read me file for the Sar's UI it has a very nice guide to changeing that

now my question is that 3 of the item inspect windows are locked and cant be moved or change their size. How do you change that ????

Just downloaded your interface this week and started using it. I REALLY like this interface and my thanks for your hard work! A few quick questions...

1) To the left and right of the horizontal spellbar are six inventory slots (three on each side that is). I'm assuming those are for items with click-abilities. How do you change which slots are in those locations? I've can't seem to move them or change them. Also can't change the slots shown in the Friends window (right click area).

2) Wondering why I can't reposition the windows that open when you examine an item in inventory by right click/hold... Is there a way to do this?

Yamdarius I have found that if you click again in the map area it lets loose of the map itself. I dont know if it was designed this way but it has worked for me hope this helps.

Ok, So I Downloaded and unzipped into UI files, then i went in game to Load UI and EQ crashed and exited out... and every time i try to log in that happens, i get an error report saying "Error in GUI XML files. Check UIerrors. txt." Not very computer smart so please help me!

I absolutely love this interface. It took me a while to get used to the new layout and handling all the information but, now when I log on another machine with the default UI I feel completely naked

The only problem I am having is with the Mapping window. The map looks and scrolls to follow me very nicely but, If I click inside the map area to move things around with the mouse or to try to use the editing tools .... I am stuck moving the map around the inside of the map area and cannot turn loose of the map image. Even moving the mouse outside and trying to click on any of the map buttons doesn't clear it up. Once I have clicked on the map with my mouse I have to hit escape or the backspace key to get rid of the map. I love to look and all of the new map but, I would like to be able to change some of the line colors that are hard to see on few of the maps from Eq-Toolbox. Any suggestions? I am running WinXP in the 1280x1024 mode and everything else seems to work very well.

I love this UI just downloaded it a week ago. I have only found 2 Very small bugs in it 1- the pet wiondow goes away when i make my pet go away ( same window with Stat/resist, 2- the map when clicked wont Unclick when ya move it around in the map window. Over all this is a UI i will be using for a VERY VERY Long time TY.
Oh i play a wiz if that helps

i just installed this ui and i like it the only problem iam having is when i pull up the friends list its not there it shows some of my gear and bags but no friends list can you let me know how to fix this plz.

I dl'd this UI last night and installed it today for my beastlord , and I was just curious of a couple things..
1. I noticed that when I open containers , back packs etc. the first few slots of the pack are showing items that I have equiped on my character . if I try to move these items and take them out of hte bags.. it un equips them off my character.. is this right?
2. I also noticed that the pet window area does not have a buff area to show what buffs your pet has, or Im blind and missing it. If this is not there is it sumthing that will be added ?
Those are just a few things Ive noted off the top from glancing at the UI for a few minutes. I love the layout and the graphics.. it seems very functional.
