Potential TempFix
I renamed the EQUI_ItemDisplay.xml in the AYA folder (forcing it to use the new default version) and it seems to be pretty stable. Might be a serviceable workaround until a real full patch can be finished.

Being Rediculous
I am so sorry but every time i read these posts all i hear is i wish i wish i wish instead of thank you thank you thank you the ui is great....
Learn XML and EQ programming and create it your self......These UIs are not paid for and are free. How much is your time worth? As a programmer i command $250 / hr. It is unfortunate that I dont know XML but stop with the requests......

The author of this UI has sadly stopped playing. hence why she has not updated it for a while. Damn shame as this has been my faivorite UI for ages.

I copied the EQUI_ItemDisplay file from the default UI to the Aya folder and that fixed the crash on right clicking an item. Just make sure to back up the orig Aya file somewhere just in case. |

Definitely must be UI as I am not boxing. Yet, rt-click on any item causes crash. Prolly related to the new Item window.... Guess we gotta wait for an update or strt diggin thru xml

Was curious if anyones ran into any grahpics glitches running AYA. I've been trying to track down a crash issue when running 2 clients, and wondering if it might be related to the UI, since occassionally the problem starts showing up there first.

spell info window?
Not sure if it's this UI or what... but my spell info window comes up blank now. Everything else seems fine (even tho it complains about XML incompatibility when I log in still.) Any ideas? no biggie...

If you downloaded my temp fix mod that is the reason why. If you want the vertical spell gem window, download Kanon's latest update and it will be there. |

Old AYA user going to drift.
I have used this UI for a few years now and finally feel that its time to move on. I sense that the designer feels its more a burden than fun anymore to maintain and errors keep cropping up.
I found a new interface I like as much and possibly more after trying a number of them.
Myxiplx's Improved Widescreen UI which is not designed for wide screen computer screens but its designed so the window viewport is placed over the panels so you dont lose performance from grafix drawing under and behind chat boxes.
I had a concerns trying to install it correctly and getting it to work right and each time the actual designer emailed me with exactly what I was doing wrong. Something that has not happened with AYA.

As an alternative to AYA and possibly using for a toon to try out I recommend it.
