**** VERSION 1.3 ****
History:
2004/09/17
Extended the number of buff slots and added one additional spell bar slot, in respect to the changes made by the Omens of War expansion. Additionally, the player window has been changed a bit, showing numerical values for mana and endurance (centered), sword cursor removed (by popular demand) and some minor bug fixes. Enjoy!
2004/07/16
Changed the EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml to display numerical mana in the player window. I left it out of the inventory screen because of no available space, and it is of more use in the player window I guess.
Be advised: some of you asked me how to remove the mouse pointer from the UI, and I sent them instructions. The updated version has this pointer, again, so if you want to remove it send me a mail, and I will send you the files to exchange them.
Holy Crusader 1.3
An Everquest UI for the Paladin class
Created 5th May, 2004 by Arakonn
Credits go to T.King and Kuvasie for the base UI
Thanks to Mythal for the Rune Indicator
Custom colorization and graphics changes by Arakonn
For all the holy warriors out there fighting evil!
This is my first go at a custom UI, at least it is a
modified version of T.King/Kuvasies Celtic 2 SE user
interface.
Changes to the basic UI by T.King/Kuvasie:
- recolored for a more holy knight theme (bluish)
- added a sword graphic from T.King as image for the equip-area
- added a custom cursor (Longblade of Vitality style)
- added vertical buff bar with named spells on it
- added T.Kings spell icons Silver Edition
- added T.Kings animated Paladin helmet as class image
- added Runed Indicator as 3D targeting ring
- added T.Kings crusader spell book
Installation:
Just copy the included folder (you can rename it any way you like)
to your Path/to/Everquest/uifiles (make sure it has its own folder
there, just like the "default" folder).
Within the folder, run remmy.exe and click on "Patch!" (no worries,
it is a prog used to modify certain EQ components to display the
class icon correctly, it is widely used and does not change anything
vital to EQ or your PC, only parts of the UI).
Load up EQ, move to the "Options" menue and click on "Load UI skin".
Look for the folder name (the basic on or the one you renamed it to),
and click it. Click accept. After some seconds it should display your
new Paladin UI. Voila!
Enjoy. If you have problems, need help or just have a question concerning
this UI, you may contact me by sending an e-mail to
