Re: ini file missing?

Hmm, it seems that part of the archive is missing. *sigh* Expect 1.9.1.a in, oh... as soon as possible.

I didn't realize I was trying to win any popularity contests. I maintain Quartz because it's a good UI, and it still has a following, despite having been abandoned. Quartz caters to a specific audience, and always has. For those of us that like it, great. For those that don't, that's fine too.

But I'm not looking for tens of thousands of downloads. I just want to maintain a good UI for good people, who have grown accustomed to that UI.

But I will note that in the last 6 hours, there have been over 100 downloads from the development site of the 1.9.1 version of Quartz. I'm not tracking how many get downloaded on EQInterface.

Back when I was around quartz had like 60K downloads(most on site) and it was never a featured UI -- funny to see that has changed haha.

The original release was amusing, I derailed our Vex Thal raid, and got like 600 emails that night.

Mouse Cursor

Finally figured out what it was I was doing wrong with the interface. Started playing EQ not too long ago, and was looking for a new player window to use when i ran across this. It looked super clean and put everything (with the default look) right next to each other perfectly. So far I like it a lot. I just had two prblems though. 1) the windows other than the main chat window all dissapeared, and I had read about this in previous posts, just not clear on how to get the windows to stay if this is infact an issue (I have only logged off once and logged back in so i wouldn't say for sure it is). 2) The mouse cursor goes to the default windows cursor. In any future upates I was wondering if you would consider putting cursor files in the mods section with a read me on thier installation. I had downloaded the cleric epic cursor, but haven't gotten it to work............yet

I've been using a modified Quartz for years now where things are flipped -- ie the player and group windows have been moved from the left to the right hand side and the hotkeys are on the left in 2 collums (much easier to see what # the hotkey is that way) -- been modding it with other misc things over the years and keeping it updated.

I just added in the integrated HoTT from this versions quartz and am loving it.

But now I want to have my player window look like the one in this version BUT on the right hand side of the screen. So how can I modify my player window to make it look like that? Kind of hard without reference points so if you want a screenshot of what I have done and want I want done I can do so.

Since the DoD patch the window to the bottom left of the hotbutton window (showing your primary, secondary, range and ammo slot) does not show for me.

It is still not showing after using this quickfix - is there a toggle I have turned off perhaps?

The current one that I have up is using the new graphics which include new buttons, chat bars and such. The only additions you will see are a new cast bubble, dragon spell book and targeting ring. I will try to get a picture of it up sometime tonight if I remember.
