Primary Features of the Neemo UI
|
|
Greetings!
This is my first attempt at making a custom UI. I hope that everyone enjoys it!!
It primary alters some of the primary TGA files and makes it more enjoyable to look at. Here is how to install:
1) Create a copy of the default UI and rename it to Neemo. (Or whatever you like)
2) Copy these zipped files into that folder and log into the game and enjoy!
Those instructions are also found in the Zipped file
Thank you, and look out for future updates!!

Only need to a NEW CUSTOM UI Folder
You only need to unzip your modified files into a new CUSTOM UI FOLDER (Insert name here) you can call it Neemo, Shemo, JollyRancher. Whatever you want, just unzip the files that this Creator has made into that folder. The EQ Client will look in that folder for all modified files, and then automatically, use all defaults for files that have not been modified, in the Defualt Directory. There is never any need to ever COPY the custom UI folder, and under no circumstances should you ever copy files INTO the Defualt UI Folder.
There are 2 areas within EQUI that you should look for more detailed information about UI's
1.) PATCH DAY TIPS
2.) THINGS UI'S CAN'T DO
There are many other very informative areas to look up information in the FORUMS area of this site.
Glad to be of any possible help.
Sincerely;
RJENGEL

Your instructions are WRONG!!!!
You do not need to copy any of the default UI files. EQ automatically uses files from the default UI directory if there is no version of that file in the directory for the custom UI you're using. Copying files from the default UI directory like you suggest is not only unnessary, but it virtually guarantees the user will have problems the next time SoE makes any changes to the UI.
