Its killing me.... Ireally really really do love this UI but a few things are making it really hard for me to use.... is there a way to put a diff cast bar on? I can't see it at all.

And honestly trying to keep track of your own hp on this is very very confusing.

If i am humbly suggest... make a seperate Cast bar that pops up when casting.... and Change the Target window to your own stats and then make a seperate Target window much like your wonderful TT window or maybe make that window bigger and put the target in the same window Above the TT

I really like your UI but could I ask for 3 things to be changed or mod'd?

First to have a bigger spell casting bar.
Second to be able to darken the boxes ... having them semi-clear is nice but sometimes i can not see the info because of the zone i am in.
And third make the spell loading button visible, right now it is just on top the the spell box.

thanks

Very very nice UI only thing i am not crazy about it sthe Target window... for pure melee you have Endurance on the Combat Ablities window anyway might be a good idea to go with a more detailed Target window... Very nice TT window maybe something sorta like that Keep up the good work

having issues

I really like this UI but for some reason it wont show my mana bar it has endurance and clicking the bat files just brings up a dos window and then it doesnt change it to the caster version. I may just have to stick with the default or find something else unless I can get it to work....

I'm leaning closer and closer to including INI files all the time. The largest reason I didn't this time is time constraints due to work and school. Hopefully this will help explain how I have it laid out in the image.

The bottom, left to right, is Cast Spell Window, Chat Window, Target/Group Windows, Chat Window, Player Window.

Just above this row are the Hotkey 2 and Hotkey 3 windows.

The top/right starting on the left side of the top are Music Player, Short Duration Buff (with Compass just underneith), Buff Window, Pet Window (Combat Ability Windows follow the same shape and will fit there also).

Most windows overlap by 1 pixel with the window next to it. This was done to not force people to place the windows a certain way. They can be moved around, but if you overlap them by one pixel (the light gray outer border) they look fluid.

I hope that helps. I'm considering either including INI files with the next version (Oh yes, there will be on just as soon as I get more ideas), or as seperate patches. In the meantime if you send an email I'll be happy to send you my ini file, just be aware that it may not be the same as the picture, will be for casters, and will be at 1600x1200.

Going to give it a whirl

I've been using AYA for a while and while very function it is very noisy. I like the simplistic approach you have taken. I'd like to give it a whirl but I must ask if you have a sample INI setup for it at all?

Or at least a map of what windows are where in your sample image? doing a "/load nemisis 1" is going to have stuff in odd locations due to my old ui

Again thanks for the kind words. They always rule. Here are a few responses and such.

For the .bat files, simply double click them and they do the job. All they really do is replace stock .xml files with the alternate ones.

'Stock' is the term I use for the original versions of windows that are available as alternates. If you replace the .xml files with the alternate ones and then wish to switch back, you need to have the original files. To accomplish this I put the in their own sub folder.

The next version of Nemesis UI, 2.0 (so named because I've made many changes in response to new features, will have full DoD support. here are a few (but not necessarily all of them) new stuffs:

Permanent HoTT window. This window can not be turned off (you asked for it, you got it)

Two horrizontal hotkey windows.

New edge design in some places on new and existing windows.

Completely redesigned player (stat) window. Basically I removed the clickies (multiple hotkey windows render them simply redundant) and reformatted the window as a whole.

Reformatted spell window to conform to the new player (stat) window. Due to the redesign it lends itself to being on the bottom left of the screen (or immediately to the left [not right] of another window, excluding the player window). Due to this I'll likely include an alternate (depending on time before the DoD release). You'll see what I mean when a screenshot goes up.

There are other, more subtle things included but that's the bulk of it.

This UI is one of the best. It's up there in the realm of AYA and DeltaX - making it one of my top 3 UIs.

The only two things that I'd request are the group buttons as previously stated in this thread, and a permanent HoTT bar, in addition to the seperate window. I don't know if these have been added or whatnot, but I just thought I'd share these thoughts.

In my humble opinion, with this addition, it'd make this the best UI, bar none.

I was wondering about those things like... "AddGroupButtons.bat"...what are those commands and how do I make them work?

And what is stock? It says for two different hot key windows- vertical and stock.

I've been using this UI for a short while now, and it takes some getting used to. Overal, I do like it. I wish some things could be changed, but like I said, it takes getting used to.

What about adding a batch file to put the mana bar below the player hitpoint bar, like you have for changing other features? Other than the mana bar placement I would say that this UI is perfect.

I've not seen or heard of any issue with the inventory. It works fine for me and everyone I know who's using the UI. As for the mana bar, I like it where it is. Don't count on it changing any time ... umm ever
