Have also had numerous problems installing this UI and having it not work correctly. The buff window only shows 6 buffs, the loot window only shows 9 slots, things of that nature. it is almost as if the code to make these auto size is not working, and cutting them off. Any help would be great, as I have grown to used to this UI to change now. Thanks

Hey man . I need help with ur grp window. ever since patch I am only able to see 3 and a half people in group the 5th person doesnt show and the 4th in only half. I cant stretch it either. Is there a way to change the size manually or is my ui messed up. ? I have pieces from the wow version and the eq2 version if that helps. I took out the pieces I like from both of them and made one .

You might had just altered the INI file wrong I assume.

The eq/uifiles/drakah_emu_warcraft is correct, although normally its EverQuest/uifiles/drakah_emu_warcraft

In any rate, inside is a UI_Drakah_druzzil.ini file. Be sure you can see the file extentions (.ini) in your explorer window. If you dont, just select Tools from the explorer, and choose Folder Options from the dropdown list. Click on View, and scroll down the list until you see "hide extentions for known file types". That should not have a checkmark. Now you should see the file extentions when selecting the view style of that window to show "Details" (ie: thumbnails/icons/tiles/list/details/filmstrip).

Be sure you rename the UI_Drakah_druzzil.ini to UI_Jmarler_povar.ini, for example. You MIGHT had forgotton the UI_ in front of your name. If you forgot that part when renaming, and copied it to your root directory of EverQuest, you could have overwritten your personal hotkey settings. I am betting that is what you did.

Once you are certain you have your UI_CharacterName_ServerName.ini renamed correctly from the drakah_emu_warcraft, go ahead and copy it to the EverQuest root directory. It will then look for that folder when you load up EQ. If your UI is loaded but all the windows are all over the place, then you are using a different resolution that what I set it up for.. just move the windows around for your own. If your UI doesn't load up at all, type /loadskin in game and check to make sure the drakah_emu_warcraft folder is even there. If it is, try selecting it to load it. If it still doesnt load, make a post on my website with a UIErrors.txt file as an attachment (not copy/paste) and ill check it out.

Remember, there are (2) files that pertain to any character:

~ UI_CharacterName_ServerName.ini
~ CharacterName_ServerName.ini

The 1st one is for UI's only
The 2nd one is for your hotkeys (ie: emotes)

Hey Drakah!

I am new to EQ and new to installing Custom UI's with that said...

I followed your README.TXT for setting up this UI.
-Extracted contents to eq/uifiles
-ended up with eq/uifiles/drakah_emu_warcraft
-inside that directory i renamed the UI_Character_server to my info
-copied the file to the root of EQ which replaced another file with the same name
-logged in
-made sure my resolution was what you requested
-the position of each window, targets, spell bar, buffs changed
-no custom UI though. It still looks like the plain default UI

Did I do something wrong?

Great work with this UI, really love the feel.

However, looking at the Pet window, it looks like your missing 2 frames from the Ui2DAnimation item="A_PetSpellIcons". Theres no reference to Spells06.tga, or Spells07.tga, so several buffs, like Monk Aura, all take on the same default icon. Not sure if this was intentional.

I have been using this interface for a quite a while , really like it, unfortuneatly downloaded the version after patch on 5th of july ,, it causes eq 2 crash if u try and examine equipment, now back2 using default until soon

I believe by default, there is no endurance bar, as it would show mana normally. If you want the endurance bar version instead of mana, I know I have it on my website.

As far as seeing someone else's mana, no that isnt possible. The only thing you can see bar wise for another player is their HP's and Pet HP's.

i got a quick question in my game i cant see anything in the gauge for endurance is this normal. it just says 0 and i am a melee class. and when you target something are you supposed to be able to see how much mana someone else has ? keep up the good work love this ui.

The UI was not really updated today.. it was still originally last updated on 5/15/07.

I only forgot to change the date and version number which I just did so you dont have to redownload the thing if you already had upgraded.
