windows so that:
1. the spell name has a clear background instead of the blue solid background and the font from black to yellow
2. change the numbers in the numbered slots from teal back to white

Ron,
1) To change the blue background on lables, it is hard coded. The file to do this is Window_Pieces06 as of TSS..( it used to be CSButtons ) The only way is to make Blue -> transparrent. - OR - change your animations. Which will cause you more grief in the long run, poss. break your UI.
I have a fix for Default and Haliken's Old_Default here:
http://www.eqinterface.com/list.php?skinnerid=276637
under SmileyFAAce_Buff_Blue_Lable_Fix. ( if it ever finishes uploading :P)
If you do not have a Window_Piece06 in your UI, Use my Window_Piece06_Default and rename it to "Window_Piece06" copy, paste into your UI and /loadskin. Thats it!
*You will have an issue if you try to do this in your UI folder and already have a Window_Pieces06, It will not want to rename.Make the re-name change first, then copy and paste over the previous one in your UI..Good idea to copy and paste the old for a back up so you don't yell at me
( because you made a typo ) lol!
Tested this download today with fix.. installed into Default.. It works.
2) To change the Number 1 etc. from Teal to White, modify this area of your file. Right click.. .open with Word. find :
<Label item="SDBW_Buff0_Place">
<ScreenID>SDBW_Buff0Place</ScreenID>
<Font>2</Font>
<RelativePosition>true</RelativePosition>
<Location>
<X>180</X>
<Y>1</Y>
</Location>
<Size>
<CX>12</CX>
<CY>12</CY>
</Size>
<Text>1</Text>
<TextColor>
<R>0</R>
<G>127</G>
<B>127</B>
</TextColor>
<NoWrap>true</NoWrap>
<AlignCenter>false</AlignCenter>
<AlignRight>true</AlignRight>
</Label>
Where and only where, you see ( notice it says TEXT COLOR )
<TextColor>
<R>0</R>
<G>127</G>
<B>127</B>
</TextColor>
Change: 0 , 127, 127 ( which is Teal )to 255, 255, 255, (White )JUST like when you hit Dye in Inventory window to change your armor to white.. it's 255 255 255.
Do this on each number of slot in the code by finding the next
<Label item="SDBW_Buff1_Place">
Notice the number changed from 0 to 1.. next will be 2.. all the way up to what ever number that window stops.. 15 short duration buff.. it will end in 14 because it started at 0.
25, will end up at 24.
Change to any color you wish, by finding the right numbers from the dye in the game from Inventory.
< be cautious what you change.. look carefully.. this can get mesmorizing;P >
