Since the patch at the beginning of the week I had to remove this as my custom UI and so far I am stuck with the current default UI. If I try to reload the UI it immediately client crashes me out and then wont let me log in betond the char select screen until I have gone into that toons files and removed the UI file. If anyone has any suggestions or leads to a similar UI I am all ears.

This was an awesome UI, and I was sure to download it when i came back to EQ a couple days ago. Although the 2nd UI is great, I am also looking for the original UI that came with the game. This UI came out around Velious and when they opened Jaggedpine Forest (I remember getting booted off my pally alt in Surefall so they could patch it in) If anyone else knows where to get an original EverQuest UI, please PM me. I'd love to have both of these in my collection

tried to download this updated version three times today, but they would not unzip, said missing or corrupt files. I havent had any problems before, is this bugged for anyone else? Thanks again for making this default old available. I have /feedback SOE many times about not purchasing anymore products till they fix it themselves.

Removed my file, so link I listed is no good any more. Thank you Drakah for updating it. And whoever put the patch link up there. I should of done that, but didn't realize Drakah was ill, as he is usually right on top of any changes

Don't know if I mentioned it here before or not, but because people have been asking me again. If you love this UI like I do, but want the smaller buff icons, you can simply delete the EQUI_BuffWindow.xml and EQUI_SmallDurationBuffWIndow.xml files from the default_old directory and you will have the exact same UI, but with smaller old icons, not the newer ones.

Updated for the May 16th patch. I have been sick past week or so and havent been on the computer much to notice there was a patch. But it is updated now. Sorry for the delay, as I always like to have patches out same day or earlier.

You can just rename the UI directory (this one being default_old) and the game will automatically switch you to the default UI, so you can do stuff until this one is updated. I also put a link to a temporary fix several posts down.

Is there going to be a fix for the 5/16/07 ui patch changes. If so let me be the 1st to check that out =) I love your UI and look forward to using it again to fit the minor changes in the live form.

P.S. I also have had problems with the compass indicator not showing instance location on the compass.. I't can get confussing trying to remember where the nest is or where the zone is that we raid. Not really a major problem but if you could fix that, that would be sweet!!

Yes, the newest one does work with errors and no browser window. The patch I linked, doesn't cause any errors and the browser window does work. I also apparently didn't have the newest. Download date on the one before this one I had was 3-10-2007, so a few days before the last changes.

Probably why I hadn't re-downloaded it, I thought it was the same date.

Most likely, any previous version will crash, as mine did.
