this is not a problem related to the components of the ui, it is an error in your ui_character_server.ini file. here's how to fix it.

• 1. open up my computer/window's explorer and go to the folder in which you installed eq
• 2. find the file that says "UI_Char_Server.ini" ie. "UI_Zyrek_Seventh.ini" and open it in notepad
• 3. hit ctrl F to open up the find command and enter the name of whatever window you want to fix
• 4. delete the entire section for that window
• 5. save the file and load eq (make sure that at the top of the file it said UISkin=Nemesis)

you'll need to do this for every broken window and in all of your UI_character ini files

10-5-07 patch pretty much fixed this kind of stuff i think, provided .ini's should be good enough.

After todays patch the bard song bar is greatly shortened and the buff icons do lot fall in the slots next to the name as they once did. Patch issues or am i missing something

i guess it is possible that when i added endurance percentage to the group window that i replaced the wrong file and messed it up, but the batch file that says AddGroupButtons.bat or RemoveGroupButtons.bat (i think) will stick them on the sides and remove the endurance percentage, or remove them and add the endurance in that order.

to invite someone or accept an invite the command is /invite or ctrl I.
to decline an invite, leave a group, or kick someone, the command is ctrl D or /disband.

hotbar one is 2x5 and lines up with the chat boxes, hotbar 2 is horizontal and left aligned, hotbar 3 is horizontal and right aligned, and hotbar 4 is vertical. choose the right one using the eqbutton and there should be no problems.

i am patching the ui tomorrow and if i messed up the group windows it will be fixed then. the endurance percentage will be moved to the player window and accompanied by a little gauge. If you like it the way it is i recommend you back up your files. [ edit: i will also include the invite/disband buttons by default this time seeing as this seems to be causing so much trouble. ]

I guess I'm like everyone else. I really enjoy this UI but like everyone else is asking..where are the Group Accept Disband buttons???

Good Day ...

I love this UI! It's well layed out and workable for all classes. I have been looking for months for a better one. I am a shaman also so it helps to see the set up.
However, compared to the pictures you have and what I have downloaded, there are a few issues. Nothing big .
First, there is no invite/disband area. I see them on the melee picture only on the grp box, but it doesn't appear anywhere in game once I downloaded it.
Second, your hot bar on your pictures here shows horizontal, but when I download it, it's vertical. Which is fine by me however this could mean something different for others.

am i missing something or is there no accept/decline group buttons ? i mean i see you made it button less but how do you accept invites and such?

there are .bat files that you can run to switch between the old icons and new the icons. I have forgotten which are there by default but im going to to assume it is the new ones because that's what i personally use.

I noticed that one picture has the old default spell icons, and the other picture has the newest icons. I like the looks of this UI more then almost all of the others I have tried, but just wondering which icons will show up? I love the simplicity of the older spell icons. Thanks!

the problem is the equi_animations.xml file - if you delete it the ui loads, but it is graphically fuxxored.
I haven't been able to fix the animations yet, so any help is welcome.

the new patch, 8/14 messed up the ui.. do you know how to fix it?
