A very small map with five different backgrounds (light, dark, white, black, and transparent). The buttons are integrated into the map, to save space.
The visible area of the map is exactly the same size as the visible area of the atlas. You can grab the sides of this map window to move it around on the screen, but not the top or bottom.
Based on an old design by Raxthorne Spiritwolf, original design by Aerasin.
The dark parchment image is derived from Davey Jones Key Map by mirrorimagestock on deviantart.com.

I believe, several definition names in the XML file match with parts of other UI parts so the client can't assign window parts to the correct window(s).
So it would help to rename the .tga files and the window pieces in the XML file to get unique names.
But be careful - maybe the map window XML needs some parts which are described in other XML files, especially the UI_Animations file.

yeah this map file now forces me to crash as well. not 100% of the time, but seems to happen more often than not in certain zones, and once it happens, it just keeps happening. I can delete it, reinstall it. It might work for a day, then I start crashing again. Too bad, as I liked it...

No longer working
Ello, was just wondering if anyone else is encountering crashes with this mod? I have a custom UI that is a hodgepodge of assorted window pieces. I really liked this piece, as I like the smaller mapwindow. However, it now causes my acct to crash. I have also created a single UI using ONLY this file, and it still crashes the game, so it cannot be a reaction to coding from other custom UI files.
