Here's what I've come up with so far on converting a PC UI to MAC.
Of course all kudos go to the original author of the UI, DarkSir23. I take no credit except for removing some of the PC specific code and changing some of the labels to fit our unique parameters.
I don't claim it's bug free but I've suffered no lag or errors from it, but use at your own risk. There's a generic UI.ini file included so you can have all the correct window positions to start with. The enclosed "readme" file is the original one for the PC but the instructions are pretty much the same for Mac. This UI is best at 1280x960.

Quartz Mod files
You may see the folder named "mods" and also a reference to it in the readme.
Don't use these yet as I'm still sorting through those and cleaning/modifying the code.
