To change EQ types:
1) open EQUI_HotbuttonWnd.xml with wordpad
2) about 1/3 of the way down locate:

</InvSlot>
3) Change the number in this line <EQType>21</EQType> to number found here:
EQ Types
4) Repeat as needed
5) Save and close
6) Reload UI and pat yourself on the back
