I took a really old hotbutton layout that I have never seen updated. Don't even recall who the first author was. I can't live without this hotbutton.

This layout matches your Number Pad on the Keyboard. The number shown in the UI correspond to the Hotbutton it activates, not the number on the keyboard, i.e. Pad7 is HB1, Pad8 is HB2, Pad9 is HB3 etc. You may need to reconfigure your keyboard layout.
