Description
This UI is a fork of Infiniti_Blue_Di28889 as I have modified it rather heavily as well as the fact Di no longer plays and gave me their blessing to fork it.

Update 2021-12-22

Apologies again for not updating quickly with the new expansion. I've been in the process of going through and trying to clean up / make corrections to various windows when the expansion came out and things were not in a good enough state to release.

Many windows have had updates that hopefully should provide a cleaner look. By this I primarily mean "buttons" should have cleaner lines though this is not restricted to buttons alone. The following is most likely NOT a complete list of changes, but were all the ones I could remember off-hand.

-BigBankWnd
--Added Dragon's Hoard
--Cleaned up the buttons

-FriendsWnd
--Removed "muted" tab as in-game voice chat is gone
--Cleaned up the buttons

-ActionsWindow
--Centered and cleaned up the buttons
--Added back the old missing "who" button
--Socials now go left to right and top to bottom. This may cause some of your socials to change places. Sorry.

-RaidWindow
-Centered and cleaned up the buttons
-Added support for the resizable non-grouped section.

-HotButtonWnd
--Cleaned up the buttons
--Added 2 additional inventory slots to Page 1 of the mini-inventory window that is part of HotBar1.
--Moved Primary and Secondary slots to Page 2 along with Range, Charm, and armor slots.
--Added Page 3 to mini-inventory with all non-visible slots, and Krono.

-Inventory
--Cleaned up the buttons
--Added 2 new inventory slots.
--Inventory slots now go left to right and top to bottom. (I hate the change, but DBG sort of left no choice with the two new slots being optional).
--Moved and lined up most of the stats on the main page.
--Alt currency tab textsize has been reduced back to original size.
--Window has been reduced back to original size.

-LootWnd (manual loot window)
--Added support for new slots.

-MapViewWnd
--Added new show names button.

-CastSpellWnd
--Moved the numbering to be better aligned with the spell name.
--Removed the unused 14th slot.
--Added optional additional files for 8-12 slot size spellbars for TLPs.

-Updated Animations file for ToL.
-Updated Templates file for ToL.

Update 2020-08-21

Apologies for not updating in a while. The UI didn't break, per se, but there were several patches that caused minor errors that should now be corrected.

-Added Task Count label to the Task Window.
-Changed the buttons on the Combat Window to use the same style as Hotbar buttons.
-Changed the Combat Skills Window to be resize-able.
-Removed the Time Remaining from the Inventory Window.
-Removed the Volume/Speaker icon for voice chat from the Player Window (in-game voice chat was removed).


Update 2019-12-19

-Replaced Marketplace window with default window as custom is no longer necessary.
-Updated Animations file for ToV.
-Updated Templates file for ToV.

Update 2019-06-19

-Adjusted Player Window to show decimal for percentages.
-Adjusted Group Window to show decimal for percentages.
-Adjusted AA Windo to show decimal for percentages.
-Adjusted Inventory Window to show decimal for percentages. (Note this is not visible and is only to stop the ui warning from showing up).

Added an alternate Player Window named EQUI_PlayerWindow_Heroic.xml. This changes the stats displayed from normal stats to heroic stats for players on live servers who are more interested in heroics than normal stats. Rename the existing EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml to something else, and rename EQUI_PlayerWindow_Heroic.xml to EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml for this change.




Update 2019-03-13

-Adjusted Chat Windows to support Chat Tabs.

By default the chat windows will display both the Titlebar and the Border.
I have also included a version with the Border disabled, and a version with the Border and Titlebar disabled.

To enable these rename EQUI_ChatContainerWindow.xml to something else, and rename the version you want to EQUI_ChatContainerWindow.xml in it's place.

Be aware that with Borders disabled you will not be able to resize the chat window, and with the titlebar disabled you will not be able to move the chat window, and if you minimize the chat window you will no longer be able to see it.

Update 2019-02-25

-Adjusted Inventory Window
--Made the window a little bigger to accommodate the larger Alt Currency Tab.
--Removed Velocity bar as it is now a proper Alt Currency (Loyalty Tokens).
--Added the description window for Alt Currency Tab.
--Removed the depreciated Evolving Item Tab.
--Resized Mercenary Tab infos.
--Resized Stats Tab infos.

NOTE: I haven't yet adjusted the main Inventory Tab to make use of the extra space. Appologies for this, I'll get to it soon, but I figured people would prefer to have it working first rather than wait while I make it look pretty.

Update 2019-02-07

-Adjusted the width and spacing of the Task Overlay Window so it shouldn't cut off task steps.
-Added "vanity" achievement category to the Animations file.
-Fixed several issues with the Mercenaries Tab on the Inventory window:
--Mana now reports Mercenary mana instead of player mana.
--Added Evasion number (AC split).
--Added Accuracy number (Atk split).
--Added Heroic stats.
--Added Spell Mod label.


Update 2019-01-22

-Added Claim and Print Housing buttons to Item Display Window.
-Added Reclaim All button to Alt Currency Tab in Inventory Window.
-Updated Mercenary Item icons from Helm/BP/Primary/Secondary to Ear/Neck/Shoulder/Waist item icons.

Update 2018-12-11

-Updated Animations file.
-Added Luck to stats page in Inventory Window.
-Added Luck to Player Window.
-Added Luck to Item Inspection Window.
-Added new shared bank slots to Bank Window.

Update 2018-06-20

-Fixed placement of a label on AA window.

-Changed SpellBar window to the standard smaller version and updated to include spells 13 and 14. If and when Sparxx fixes their spellbar I'll change it back.


-Updated Spellbook to display longer spell names. The older, smaller spellbook is included as EQUI_SpellBookWnd_Small.xml. Just rename it to EQUI_SpellBookWnd.xml to use the smaller version.

Update 2018-02-21

-Updated the AA window with the new description box.

Update 2018-02-03

Apologies for taking a while to update, I was super busy.

-Added ROS animations (Achievement window)

Update 2017-10-18

-Added the Buy All button to the AA window.

I have also added the Old Spell Icons and No Inventory Hotbar zip files to the main download. If you wish to use these simply unzip and replace the version in the main folder.

Update 2017-09-20

Features:

Player Window that displays a large amount of information about your character in as compact a space as possible. It also uses tinted glass to allow transparency without making it difficult to read the information.

Information displayed:
  • Stats
  • Powersource Remaining
  • Tribute
  • XP bars
  • and more...


Bank Window that is more compact than default to save screen realestate.


Vertical Buff window that displays buff names as well as a background that allows for instant differentiation between beneficial and detrimental spells. (Blue/Red/Yellow).


Container Window with large icons that defaults to the old-style 2 columns view. Note that it only defaults this way, it can be adjusted in-game to different shapes. Additionally an alternate file included named "EQUI_Container_small.xml" can be renamed to "EQUI_Container.xml" and uses smaller icons.


Extended Target Window that uses tinted glass to allow for transparency without making it hard to see the actual information (when displayed).


Group Window that displays Pet Health as a full length bar, shows your own character information at the bottom (in group or solo), and uses tinted glass to allow for transparency without making the information hard to read.


Hotbar Window that uses larger, square, icons for easier readability. HotBar 1 uses a mini-inventory window to allow for quick access to bags and weapon slots. HotBar 1 cannot be resized due to this. HotBars 2-10 can be resized as desired. Note that the inventory uses the old-style 2 column arrangement. Thus the bags open in the following order:

1 6
2 7
3 8
4 9
5 10


EQ Button without the eye-cancer inducing Orange DC button. The marketplace can still be accessed through the menu if desired.


Inventory Window that displays information in a more compact space and uses tinted glass for certain Tabs to allow for transparency while maintaining readability. Additionally, the Radiant and Ebon Crystals Alt Currency has been moved to the Alt Currency Tab at the bottom. Note that the Inventory uses the same old-style 2 column arrangement as the mini-inventory on HotBar 1 shown above.


*Spellbar Window that displays the full spell name as well as a background color of the spell type. Additionally contains a file named "EQUI_CastSpellWnd_small.xml" that can be renamed to "EQUI_CastSpellWnd.xml" that does not display the spell names and is much more compact.

*This spell bar came from Sparxx UI. Credit to them.


Target Window that has Health of Target's Target built into it so it always displays. Additionally uses tinted glass to allow for transparency while maintaining readability.


There are several other windows that have been changed but I honestly don't have a complete list of everything so I have only outlined the major changes.

Spell gems!!

Thanks for the updated. It's so nice for your kindness.

After this new expansion, Etasilcons spell gems could not be used. Hope I could find the solution soon.

infiniti blue beimeth

Is there a chance this will get updated from the patch on 20 Apr? Also on this UI before the patch I have some toons where the player information will not come up, keep clicking on the command but nothing. Also as of right now the pet window shows icons of swords or something like that

I will have an update posted shortly, sorry.

I always keep it updated as I still play, but I don't always remember to update it here.

PMing me on the EQ forums is usually the best way to remind me. Despite repeatedly marking eqinterface as not spam, it is still auto-marked as spam.


Edit: I have made some rather extensive changes over the last few months to the point I may have to split it into a separate branch.

Mostly this consists of making more windows use the tinted glass instead of a solid background, but also eliminating many of the rounded corners and making the lines sharper and cleaner/more defined.

Just remove itemdisplay from folder till updated, for yesterdays patch.

they changed itemdisplay and templates but keep 2nd in there or it totally break it.

By default the EQ map uses a "texture," essentially the image of a map with the lines drawn on top. This is both distracting and wasteful of space. This UI does not use it meaning you need to tell EQ not to use a texture for the background.


Right click on an empty part of the map and select "Background > Texture" to disable it. The background will change from black to white.

Now right click and select "Background > Tint Color" and change this to 127, 127, 127 (grey) which is the preferred color for maximum readability for most people.
