Willybyrd EQ inventory Window

Description
Here's a strange idea: what if we could transform the EQ button into a tool for more easily managing our inventory items without having to use a window that blocks our view of what's happening?

This long thin bar's primary purpose is simplify and speed the casting of non-worn clickies, as it is such a time-consuming pain to have to open the inventory window and bags to get the item, equip it, right-click to cast, replace the worn item and put the clicky item back.

This window also makes it easier to quickly access inventory and bag contents, without taking up too much screen space (ya, I know the slot pics are teeny-tiny and sometimes hard to decipher, but that's what it took to keep the bar small on the screen).

The layout is pretty straightforward: The 8 main inventory bag slots are to the left. The bottom row shows all the worn gear slots: the visible gear slots first, followed by the bandolier slots, the jewelry slots and finally the non-visible gear slots. The top row shows the 10 slots each for inventory bags 5 and 6. The working, but smaller, EQ button is to the
right. And ya - the energian slot is up top in the middle.

The inventory and bag slots work just like you would expect, making it easy to inspect, move or cast clickies on items. To simplify casting of non-worn clickies, put them in the bag slot just above the gear slot they go in (for example, i put my DoD insta-clicky resist buff face item above my worn face item). That makes it possible to quickly move, click and put the item back.

For my toons, I center this EQ/inventory window at the top of my Everquest screen, with the compass just below it. I can quickly move my mouse pointer up there, but it doesn't much obscure my view of Norrath.

WARNING WARNING WARNING: You really must use 10-slot containers in bag slots 5 and 6 (bottom left and next to it on this window). If you don't, you could crash EQ or lose your item by accidentally dropping it into a bag slot this window shows is there, but really isn't. Buy 10-slot Deluxe Tinkering containers in PoK if you are cash-strapped, but do not leave 6 or 8-slot containers in those two bag slots. You will curse yourself and your children for all eternity if you make a mistake after failing to heed this warning.
