I wanted to make an Assist Ring that I recognized, so I created a graphic similar to the selection graphic from overhead games such as Warcraft and Command and Conquer.

The Targetting Ring is based heavily off of the Advanced Targetting Reticle (credit to the original author). I changed the consider colors to be a bit more contrasting, IMHO. The Assist Ring rotates very slowly around the target, though the user can of course change this in the .INI file to taste.

Unzip this file into the directory for your custom UI. Once in game, type in:

/indicator on

Even if you already have the indicator on, using this command forces the game to reload the images and settings. Also, the game will cache textures, so the first time you start EQ after including these files you won't see the changes until you use the indicator command.
