Description
I played around until I came up with a UI that would fit comfortably on my 1024x768 screen using windowed mode. The viewport is set to 170 110 695 485 (Not everyones optimal proportions but it fills the interior portion of my screen).

My thanks to Kyth, J4E, and Lodi Dodi. Thier UI mods were the basis/inspiration for Hodgepodge. Having no real background in xml I leaned heavily on thier works and tweaked and changed what I could. There are a few bugs but they are mainly aesthetic and do not affect game play. I've been using this UI for 3-4 months now and have not noticed any real problems or lag related to the UI.

Included in the Hodgepodge folder are CS_Buttons.tga, EQUI_ActionsWindow.xml, EQUI_Animations.xml,EQUI_BuffWindow, EQUI_CastSpellWnd.xml, EQUI_ChatWindow.xml, EQUI_GroupWindow.xml, EQUI_HotButtonWindow, EQUI_PetInfoWindow.xml, EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml, EQUI_TargetWindow.xml, and a subfolder that includes Vertical EQUI_HotbuttonWindow.xml.

Most of the windows are tweaks of the Default UI standardizing borders, removing some titlebars, and changing sizes to make them fit better. They are movable so you can arrange them however best works for you.

Before you install the Hodgepodge folder make sure you remove the Vertical Hotbutton folder. To use the vertical Hotbutton Window see below.

Hot Button Window:
There are two available Hotbutton Windows - one vertical, and one horizontal. To use the vertical Hotbutton Window:
Remove the EQUI_HotButtonWindow.xml file from the Hodgepodge folder. Move the Vertical EQUI_HotButtonWindow.xml file from the Vertical Hotbutton folder into the Hodgepodge folder and rename it EQUI_HotButtonWindow.xml. If you have not already done so remove the Vertical Hotbutton folder from the Hodgepodge folder.

Both Hotbutton windows display current/maximum weight, 8 inventory slots, primary and secondary weapon slots, and two clickie item slots (currently face <EQType 3> and feet <EQType 19>). The clickie item slots can be changed to whichever inventory slot you desire. Just open the EQUI_HotButtonWindow.xml file in a xml editor, find the <EQType 3> or <EQType 19> text, and change to the desired slot on the list below (Thanks to Kyth for the list and the method). EQTypes for inventory slots are as follows:
1 = Left Ear
2 = Head
3 = Face
4 = Right Ear
5 = Neck
6 = Shoulder
7 = Arms
8 = Back
9 = Left Wrist
10 = Right Wrist
11 = Range
12 = Hands
13 = Primary Slot
14 = Secondary Slot
15 = Left Finger
16 = Right Finger
17 = Chest
18 = Legs
19 = Feet
20 = Belt
21 = Ammo
22 = Top Left Inventory
23 = Top Middle Left Inventory
24 = Bottom Middle Left Inventory
25 = Bottom Left Inventory
26 = Top Right Inventory
27 = Top Middle Right Inventory
28 = Bottom Middle Right Inventory
29 = Bottom Right Inventory
30 = Container Slot 1
31 = Container Slot 2
32 = Container Slot 3
33 = Container Slot 4
34 = Container Slot 5
35 = Container Slot 6
36 = Container Slot 7
37 = Container Slot 8
38 = Container Slot 9
39 = Container Slot 10

Horizontal Buff Bar:
It is not perfect. On the "Hodgepodge screen" screenshot I keep the label and top of the buff bar hidden under the top edge of the window. The blue/red label colors are not working correctly as I am unable to create the needed alpha channel in the CS_Buttons.tga file, and have been unable to find a working CS_Buttons.tga file. Also the buff buttons are taller then I would prefer but making them any shorter tends to throw everything out of alignment. The names of each buff are displayed below the button.

Player/Group/Target Windows:
The Player Window includes percentages next to the gauges for health, mana, XP, and AA. The Group Window includes percentages next to each group members health guage. The Target Window includes the percentage next to the health guage.

Please feel free to improve upon what I have here.
