FORMAL-FUNCTION USER INTERFACE FOR EverQuest

This is a Funtional Based User Interface, You will see that all windows are themed to resemble one another with their
basic border design, and semi-tranparent features. You may also notice the use of multifunctional windows throughout this
UI, this is to make the UI as versitile as possible for any and all classes, while also begin almost custom fitted
to each indivdual class.
NOTE: HOTBUTTON 4 (under the ACTIONS Sub-Menu in the EQ Button) is the MANA GAUGE
HOTBUTTON 3 (under the ACTIONS Sub-Menu in the EQ Button) is the Mini Inventory

In The 4.0 Update has the following items that Were changed:
Included Optional Spellbook Upgrade,
Based Inventory Re-Instated due to graphic problems with other windows.
Modifed HOTBUTTON WIndow 4 to be a MANA-GAUGE/NUMBER/100% Window for the casters
(can have the Alpha set to 0% and will show only gauge, mana number and mana percentage with no border)
(NOTE: all other items have been removed hotbutton windwo 4 only listed will show it that window)
(This allows for the caster's to place their mana gauge anywhere they want, independent of the rest of the UI)
Modified HOTBUTTOB Window 3 to be optional MINI-INVENTORY
Modified the GROUP Window to allow for added space around Gauges
Modified the CONTAINER window to resemble the StayPut bag mod by: Sylphan - Helps out the Tradeskillers
Modified the Tradeskill Window (minimized the window as much as possible without loss of functionality
Modifed the Compass/Gage Window (Moved Mana/End Gage and info) (Made all Gauges 10% larger and maxxed number size)
Modified the Bazaar Window for a Show All
Modified the Bazaar Search Window to be more Compact, and easier to use
Modified mostly all the Gauges to Allow for easier Reading of gauge and number
Reclored mostly all the main gauges as well to allow for numbers to show better on background
Modified the Player Window (Inventory/Bag/Stat mod) to allow for better placement
Modified the Laceless Targeting Ring to input Sayings on Each Ring, Modified Graphic and code as well, Added Assist and Mark Rings to match
Modified many of the Graphic Files or the main windows and all many optional window designs
THIS UI IS RECOMMENDED TO BE USED IN 1024X768 RESOLUtION. But can be used at Higher Resolutions
It is recommended with this update that you DELETE your old FUNCTION UI FOLDER and crate a fresh new one before extracting files into it.
To Install go to your EQ UI Folder (Normally C:\programfiles\Sony\EverQuest\uifiles)
and extract this .zip file directly into your New Folder (IE: FUNCTION)
**REMINDER: NEVER COPY ANY FILES INTO YOUR DEFAULT DIRECTORY.
UI_Character_Server.INI is included make certain to place this into your default EQ folder
(Normally:C:\programfiles\Sony\EverQuest) and make sure to make a backup of your old UI_char_server.ini File
Rename the File to match your's for example: UI_Fithin_Fenninro.ini
Once in everquest, type in /loadskin FUNCTION
Make Certain to unclick the "Keep Your Layout" option if you want the windows to be set up like in the screen shot.
**An alternate way of loading this user interface is through the option window.
Under the General Tab of the options window (alt + o), you'll see a button on the lower left corner named
"Load UI Skin" Click on this and another window will appear, listing the folders in your "uifiles" folder.
Default will be listed, as well as the Formal_Function. Select the one you desire and click on Load Skin.
The screen will freeze for a few moments, then pop back on with the NEW UI Files Loaded.
