Description
Updated 10/21/08

Feedback is welcomed as this project will be continued with other windows. Currently a modified Player Window, Casting window, Group window, Spell Gems bar, Options bar, Activity Window, Target Window, Buff Window and Bard Song Window has been made.
  • Player Window- Now has numeric values for both current and max HP, Mana, and End as well as percentages. Modified Endurance gauge to be easier to read with the default EQ Green text for numeric values. Has all resists and current values for them. AA exp bar and percentages as well as unused AA's banked.
  • Target Window - Now has the Target's Target window built in rather than searching for that Leadership Hotkey to turn it on.
  • Buff and Bard Song Windows - Are in a list format with labels showing the name for each buff and shrunken icon.
  • Spell List Bar - Slightly changed to take a little less screen space
  • Spell Casting Window - Cleaned up the casting window.
  • Group Window - Modified slightly to fit with style and size of other windows
  • Activity Bar - Completely revamped the activity window to take less space and mesh with size and shape of other mod'd windows. Rearrange buttons in a horizontal fashion. Added a 5th tab which has 4 Timers built into it. Timers are modified code from Timermod.com that I had to completely chopped and edited the code to work how I wanted inside this window(Thanks Artisa for your great work). This is an absolute amazing feat for me and took me many hours of work. You now have timers in this UI without losing one of your other windows or any features you normally would. I won't even meantion the number of people that told me it was absolutely impossible.. prob. the reason I made it happen <G>.
  • Combat Skills Window - Cleaned up and formated in a horz layout rather than the two rows of 4.
  • Options Bar - Just shrank down the bar and buttons for more efficient space usage.
  • Hotkey bars - I have edited all 4 hotkey bars. Hotkey bar 1 has been cleaned up on the width and a special three tab setup has been added with characters entire inventory in a awesome functional setup. Hotkey bars 2 and 4 have been cleaned up to take less space than originals and to make the width of the Hotkey bar 1. Hotkey bar 3 has been specificly edited to add features into the bar to help condense information and options in one spot. The Discipline gauge has been put into it so the need for the disc window being open isn't required to use anymore as well as a casting gauge. This setup is has been designed around the desires of MT's and Hybrids of my guild.

This code was all done from scratch although I did refer to older works for how some coding was done and thank all those on this site for the abudance of information they share with the rest of us.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Revised to version 1.2 with the TSS Expansion release.

* Changes made to the player window to add Guage and Animated button for Player Combat (rest features). Add the Corruption resist stat to Player window. Increased Buff window to be able to view new buff slots active with TSS expansion.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Revised to version 1.3 to correct inv. shifts with Buried Sea expansion.

* Corrected the EQType's shift for functionality with Buried Sea Expansion. UI gives red text warning message, but no errors have been found with this revision. If someone see's what is causing the message flag and knows how to fix it, please PM me and I'll correct.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Revised to version 1.31. Fixed callouts for the short term buff window. It wasn't calling out the added three buff slots on my zip file that was uploaded.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Revised to version 1.40 with Secrets of Faydwer expansion. Only functional change is adding the 10th Spell Gem to Spell Gems Window(purchase 2nd level of aa).

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Revised to version 1.50. The targeting window, player window and group windows have been updated due to new features Sony added for the upcoming expansion. Targeting window is resizable to allow you to move the bottom down and view the targets buffs. I also slightly resized the working width of the window. The group window required a lot of change due to the additional mana and endurance bars added to groupmates. Also the added features for assiging group tasks (puller, main tank, main assist). The player window is almost the same as the previous version although the current and max gauge NUMBERS are missing. I will add them in the near future but wanted to get you all back working.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Revised to version 1.51 with new expansion patch. Redid some coding on the target window to make better target con box better visually. Updated the player window with numerical values for hps, mana and endurance as previous offered on earlier versions. Added the merc button on the select bar as well.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Revised to version 1.52. Only functional change is fixing the buff windowto align text with gauges after 12/10/08 patch.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Revised to version 1.53. Seems the tile system Sony tossed at me messed with how I had the click options to remove buffs, this has been corrected.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
***I've appartently uploaded the incorrect zip 3 times now, hopefully this fixes it for you folks. Sorry about that. 12/13/08

ok found another problem with this setup not sure how to bypass it but anyway here goes. I loaded it via while game was running and then loaded it while game running but the second i log out and reconnect to EQ patcher it redownloads all new crap and the mod you did doesnt hold. and i so dont want to have to reload that ui everytime i want to play. and i dont want to do the whole default old foler copy rename BS copy folder and paste new ui crap and all that cause it doesnt work. uhg I'm so hating EQ1 about to call it quits and go back to playing EQ2 uhg.

Looks pretty good so far...keep up the work

You might want to change your character name tho, that would keep me from using any of your work.

If you are asking if I can put HoTT for each person in a group within the group window, that cannot be done. HoTT is hard coded to just the person or mob you are specificly targetting. This is why I put it specificly in the Target window so it would load by default there. If I'm misunderstanding you, please post and clarifiy what exactly you mean. Thanks

I could make a spell bar with you gems that way but chose not to for my personal setup. When I'm raiding, I like to be able to see everything I want at once with as much effeciency as I can. Generally, I lay my UI pieces as evenly as possible to make like a picture frame to give me the best visibility. When I hit the alt key and look at my spell list, EQ's code puts the labels up horz which a spell bar that way would cover each other up. <head scratch> I will see if I can find a way to set that up that's functional, but will prob. list it as a seperate piece so people can mix and match what works best for them. Thanks for the feedback.

Ok.. it sounds like you're extracting the files into the Default Directory. Don't do that with any UI as the Patcher will be teh death of you repeatedly. Go to the UIFILES directory in EQ, make a folder called Klubbers. Extract the files into this sub directory. When you load EQ, go to Options and you'll see the button for Load Skin. You should now see default, old_default and Klubbers as well as any other UI you have there. I started this UI specificly to use the NEW Default standards and features specificly to simplify life with people trying to use their older UI's. This is not based on the OLD_Default.. it's the current one, which was the reason I started this.

Some minor corrections and a serious upgrade on activities bar. Check out the built in timers. Many hours of working with code from Timermod to integrate without losing any windows or features from anotehr EQ window.

Also thanks to Artisa at Timermod.com for his timer development.

one issue

there is one thing i couldnt get my brain around on this UI although it is a super nice layout and all I just didnt understand why you made the personal info window with everything but the regular exp bar you got health, mana, endurance, AA, exp, and stats was curious why you didnt put a regular exp bar as well but anyway I liked it except for that. is a super nice layout.

As an end game raider type, I took preferences that my guildies and other raiders said they wanted and didnt' care about. Characters that are lvl 70 don't really need to see it. If you're not lvl 70, unless you're PL'n, the xp isn't going to move so fast that you need to track. At least that's the opinion when the approach to the layout was decided on. Hope that make sense as it was deliberate in design.
