Updated list for The Buried Sea.
Just a note: When using EQType 137 for Target of Target Percentage, you will notice a "0" is shown when something is targeted, all the time. This has been bugged and sent to Roger to see if he can get someone to fix that so a "0" does not show at all, unless it is a corpse. |

Shouldn't this read: 5000 = Loot Slot 0 Through 5031 = Loot Slot 31 Also, Quote:
becomes: 8000 = Inspect 0 Through 8022 = Inspect 22 |
Good catch -- edited list.
Actually, it was supposed to goto 5031. Number 5030 was duplicated for the last 2 slots and wont work that way. It has been bugged and sent to the developers to fix. |
Woot! Thank you Drakah for this list. Most apreciated.
***edit*** was just going over list. an in the invetory eq types theirs this.. 30 = Bottom Right 30 = Container Slot 1 if this is correct that would explain why the other day i had a container slot in bottom right instead of a ralic pack.Just double checked an it is.Sure explains what i seen even with default. |
EQUI.xml
1 Attachment(s)
I modified a EQUI.xml file to hold this information, as well as organize the XML list alphabetically so searching in SidlWidl is easier. Only one problem that I noticed; when you save in SidlWidl using this, it saves *all* XML files, so you'll get a directory full. Just delete the ones you dont need and it will pull them from Default like usual.
Only one thing to change; currently, types 116 to 119 all just say "Tribute". 116 is the Personal Tribute Timer, 117 is your current amount of Tribute points, 118 is your total career Tribute, and 119 is the Tribute cost per 10 minutes. |

Um. 137 is the in-combat timer(combat rest timer). 120 is the target of target percentage. How is this behavior of a '0' different from regular target hp percentage? Thanks, -Bembaru EverQuest programmer |

You're right, I think he just brain farted the number, as he's obviously used it correctly many times. The behavior of a 0 is different because it is still there when nothing is in your target of target window. In your normal target window, it is blank if you have no target. No "0%", just blank. That's obviously hard-coded in somehow, but is not in the HoTT indicator. All we are asking for is that when there is no target of target, the 0% vanish also. |

In looking at the code, it appears that both target and target of target health percentages should be 0% if you are using them anywhere except in their original windows. If Target of Target is being used in EQUI_TargetOfTargetWindow.xml it should blank out at 0%. Likewise Target in EQUI_TargetWindow.xml. Can anybody point me to a skin that doesn't behave this way? -Bembaru EverQuest Programmer |
ok, that sort of makes sense - i believe that i can point you to a mod where the target doesn't behave that way though.
http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=4892 if i am not badly mistaken, the Target window is just the word 'con' that hovers above the carving of the word 'con' on the 'dashboard'. my boyfriend uses this ui, and it doesn't seem to have that issue with the target being not in it's native window. if the 0% showing is only when it's in a window that's not the native window for HoTT, then that explains why it's a 'problem' for most of the modders - the HoTT is usually put in the Target window for custom UIs. most people hate having to 'open' the HoTT window in order to use the ability, especially since it won't open if the ability isn't availible. there are many 'target window' mods that are basicly nothing but adding HoTT to the target window (and increasing the size appropriately). i personally love hott, and would probably almost never remember that it's availible if i have to open a seperate window. it's especially annoying since it's not obvious if the group leader has the HoTT ability unless the gauge is just there for you to see. |
The target window I use has the HoTT gauge added, but not the %. I modded the HoTT window to fit over my target window and does have the % shown. When I am in a group w/ HoTT, I can activate the HoTT window (or bring it in front of the target window to see the %) but the gauge in the target window is active for HoTT if the group has it. My method is not the best, but is saves me from seeing the 0% at all times which I quickly disliked with the original mod I used.

These are ALL off by one. I just spent a few hours on a project just to learn that the hard way. These actually start at 2032 (not 2031) and end with 2271. I don't know if this is a recent stealth change or if this has been incorrect. Either way, I just wanted to make sure no one made the mistake I did. I should have tested things as I went along - I just saw no reason to while I was doing it. Take care, Acidon EDIT: I kan spail gud! lol |
This shift was due to the TBS powersource being added.

Ahhh I see. Now that makes sense. Was that in the patch message? Or should I have just used common sense (seems like an obvious answer now). I didn't see it, and I thought I read everything. Either way, thanks for the info. Acidon |

I don't believe it was, this was introduced with TBS (during beta). When I first logged into the TBS beta, I reworked my UI and realized how they added the powersource. I sent them feedback about how this would break nearly every custom UI right after I fixed my UI. |

Let me make sure I understand. Your target window is modded to have the target health, as well as the HoTT gauge. Your target window's HoTT displays 0% when not in a group with HoTT. You've modded your HoTT gauge window to fit over your target window's HoTT gauge. The HoTT gauge doesn't display anything when not in a group. Is that correct? (if not, please tell me) If it is, it goes back to what I said previously. Both target and health of target's target (HoTT) percentages display 0% if you are using them anywhere except in their original windows. I don't have time currently to dig into this, but I've added it to my to do list. -Bembaru |
Right, the HoTT number and % sign when used in any other window but the HoTT window will always show the 0% part when you dont have a HoTT target. Feel free to use my UI (linked) as an example.

I posted this somewhere else but here it is again, can copy and paste if you want to update the list above with it

My Target window does not use/display the HoTT health percent. My target window only displays the HoTT health bar and HoTT name label if I am in a group with HoTT available along with the normal target health bar and lables. My HoTT window is modded to fit exactly over my target window. It has the HoTT guage, HoTT name label (yes, both windows have these), and the health percent lables. When I see that my group has HoTT active, I can turn on my HoTT window and see the % health displayed if I choose to. If not, I just see the HoTT guage/name in my target window. To be completely honest, I could have just modded my HoTT window to display only the % health and placed it where ever I wanted. So the answer is, I only show the percent health labels in thier original window so that I don't see the 0% for HoTT in my target window at all times. |
EQType for 10th spell gem
Anyone know the EQType label number for the 10th spell gem slot? I have the rest figured out, just need this number.
Thanks! Eliak |
what 10th spell gem slot?
far as i know there's only 9 |
There are only 9 in total for spellgems:
60 = Spell 1 (code starts off as CSPW_SpellName0) 61 = Spell 2 62 = Spell 3 63 = Spell 4 64 = Spell 5 65 = Spell 6 66 = Spell 7 67 = Spell 8 133 = Spell 9 (aka AA Extra spell gem) |
I can't say where the info is from (read NDA), just thought that it might be floating around out there since they make changes to the UI with almost every patch...basically this number is required for "upcoming" patches.

It shouldn't be mentioned in a public forum (read NDA). But the best place to look is the spell gems XML in the default folder for those in the beta. The above post should be a good hint at how to find it also. |
I have tribute running in my player window so i remember to turn it off. Is there an eqtype for the powersource power value so i can either put a % left on the powersource or a numerical value (ie, 1200000) in my player window?
|
If its not listed in the first post of this topic, then no.

Since this is on the item window, I suspect there won't be a way to display the number. But you can put the inventory slot on a window and you can see the colored gauge on the side. |

Short Duration types
Does anyone have the EQTYPEs for the short duration buff slot #s? Looks like 80-87 for the first set. But I can't find the others.
