bazaarsearchwnd.xml trouble...
 

ok i'm trying to edit my bazaarseachwnd.xml :confused: everything loads up fine and looks like its working fine, the combo boxes DO work... however, when you click on the lil arrow that brings down a selection list, the list shows BEHIND everything on the bazaar search window... example: i want to change the item filters so that it will only search for items a dark elf can wear, i click on the race box and a list pops down from it, but all the boxes and labels placed below it on the bazaar search window show thru the list, so i can't actually see whats on the list, instead of seeing the list of choices, i have everything else super-imposed over it. i thought maybe this had something to do with the order things are loaded up on the window, so i went thru the .xml in notepad and rearranged it all to go in order, with all the boxes on the top row placed in the beginning of the file, and so on, but this didn't fix it. i then tried replacing each section with copy from the default file and just re-editing size and location, but that didn't fix it either. i'm really out of ideas on whats wrong, especially as the entire file started from default, :confused: really all i have changed is sizes and locations, and some of the font sizes in the label boxes. any ideas on whats wrong would be appreciated... especially since i know the default file doesn't have the problem, and its basically a copy of default... i'll attach my edited file.

If I remember right, dropdown boxes that overlaps screens gets funky, but I believe it would be related either to the order of (Pieces) or just internal coding.

Check to make sure your dropdown list pieces are last on the (pieces) list at the end of the XML file.

could u give me an example? like say i have them going across the top of the window, with one more row beneath them like so....

(Item Slot) (Item Stat) (Item Race) (Item Class) (Item Type)
(Min Level) (Max Level) (Min Price) (Max Price) (Traders)

Pretend those are the boxes, i still havent' figured out how to make that image button work so i can insert small pics :(

what order would i want them to go in, in the pieces list?

well i moved all the box pieces to the end, put them in the order they appear... didn't work, so, i reversed it... tah dah!! Drakah... i love you, ya big sexy kitty!!! *kisses* for Drakah!! i've got a stash of catnip and tuna, too... /wink
