EQInterface Forums - Invalid BMP Files

Adamax A Ghoul Join Date: Nov 2002 Server: Bertoxxilous Posts: 12	Invalid BMP Files I am trying to extract BMP files from EQ using ******** (Name removed by admin). I launch the program, it auto-detects EQ, I dbl-click a s3d file (say arena_obj.s3d), dbl-click a BMP file (say feet.bmp), my graphics editor program (PSP 8.1) launches and gives me a "This is not a valid BMP/DIB/RLE file" error message. Ok, so then I click on Archive, select "Save Data" and save the BMP file to the HD. All graphic editors I have give me the same "This is not a valid BMP/DIB/RLE file" error, even MS Paint. Am I doing something wrong here or did SOE change the graphic files? If SOE changed the graphics, is there a newer version of the program (or simular) program available that will extract the files I want? That program is not supported by SOE, and is not part of the UI software. Much like other 3rd party software that break the EULA (which this does under the "you will not examine, extract, or alter our files) We can not offer any help for it. And ask you not to request help from others on this site for it.

I am sorry, but you might see if that program has a forum of it's own.
