UI bugged perhaps?
Ok, not sure what happened but I logged on after the 4/19/06 patch and I'm stuck with the new default UI to include the new spell gems.. I have the old spell gems and a few custom windows (IE: Buff and Song) in a custom UI folder but when I /load nothing changes.. any suggestions?
Thank you in advance..

There were No UI changes with the 4/19 patch. I would suggest checking your UIErrors to see why your Custom UI will not load or paste them here so people can help further.

Here is a copy of my UIErrors.. I use the following custom items: Buff Window; Short Duration Buff Window; Old Default spells01 through spells07, gemicons01 through gemicons03, spell_icons; and Dynamic zone window.. Since the most recent patch my UI reverted back to the new default.. /load does not change anything..
Please reveiw the following.. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated..

Alright, went through the entire ordeal of uninstalling and reinstalling.. same crap.. but what surprised me was that all the ui files and custom files were still there.. anyway.. I tried /loadskin.. again didn't work.. so I took out the dynamic zone window and BOOM.. works now.. how can one file mess up an entire UI?

One Window file will cause your entire UI to crash.
Chech your XML in the Dynamic Zone XML and search the WDT. Accordinding to what I see in your errors log is WDT_InnerNew and WDT_RoundedNew, If I look at the default Dynamic Zone XML I have it uses WDT_Inner,and WDT_Rounded. If you want that window back I would look at the XML and change it to read WDT_Inner, and WDT_Rounded. Assuming everything else works because you have removed the Dynamic Zone XML from your custom folder that should be the problem. If your Custom UI works and you still have the Dynamic Zone window working that would be because it will pull the Default Dynamic Zone Window. So you might want to leave things alone.
Does all that make sense.....

danny,
Yes it does make sense.. I searched the Dynamic Zone XML and found references to both versions of Inner and Rounded.. The Dymanic Zone window I wanted to use came out of a complete custom UI set from my fiance.. So it only makes sense that the creator of the custom UI used specific references in the XML instead of sticking with the usual default..
Bottom line is I will have to look for a different Dynamic Zone window..
Thank you for the help and I can be happy that it's all solved and I have my UI back..
