editing your downloads
After pounding my head against the keyboard a few hundred times authors can now edit their interface downloads. All interface authors are allowed to update the interface zipfile, update the picture file, and update the description. If you update the zipfile the interface will go back to the moderation queue for approval.

* This news is for skin authors *
These changes do not effect you unless you are an author of interfaces.

You can find the link either under your name in every post you make on our forum or in the eqinterface logged in block under the menu show in the graphic below:
<img src=http://www.eqinterface.com/images/edithelp/goto.gif>
Once you click on that link you and only you will see a new column in the list of your downloads as seen in the picture below:
<img src=http://www.eqinterface.com/images/edithelp/list.gif>
When you click on the [edit] link you will be brought to a window as shown in the picture below:
<img src=http://www.eqinterface.com/images/edithelp/edit.gif>
Updating the picture or description does not require moderation. Updating the zipfile will take your interface offline until an admin or moderator approves your update.
As always if you would like one of your interfaces deleted please send a PM to Kudane Sokol or Dolby with the name of the file.

Oh! Did I do that?! Lol! Sorry for the mess last night with submitted two with errors.. you are so kind to have fixed it though.
And just so you knows.. I looked all over last night to see whether I *could* edit my own submissions..
This new feature you have offered is fantastic! Lots less headaches all around now

First off let me say this is a wonderful addition, thanks for implimenting it!
One thing I'm curious about though. When you edit your download it puts the "New" icon next to it. This makes sense if the file has been updated but if its just someone rewording something or updating a URL or something of that nature (text modification only), I'm not sure its really appropriate. Especially if the download you've got on there is something "hot" etc. with different icons, and instead is marked as new.
Maybe it'd be better to limit this to only updates of the file itself?
