Animated Target Rings ( after 6/13 Patch )
It seems that the animations in the target rings have stopped working.
And the Tga images show up reversed. Has anyone looked into this yet?

ok guys here's a fix that worked for me...
seems the patch overwrote the .ini for the specific target ring and threw everything out of whack..
so here's 2 steps you can use to fix it.. either will work, whatever is easier for you
step 1) download the full version of the UI or target ring you wish to use and find the targetindicator.ini then copy it into your custom UI folder and click yes when it asks if you want to replace the file.
OR you can use
step 2) download and install the full version of the UI or target ring, replacing the old one entirely
also make sure your default folder is at the bottom right in your uiflies folder so the game doesnt repatch your work you just did hehe
hope this helps, if not please let me know... feedback is the only thing thats gonna help you guys at this point, because it seems mine is working fine now 8)

The target ring I use is one made for my guild... it no longer spins. I tried what you suggested and it didnt help it. I also lost the health bar on my target window. Could these be related? I have the percentage and name, just no bar.

There are multiple issues with UI's after the patch, as usual.
Hell, I managed to lose the HP and mana bars in my player window along with the casting gauge ... but the target one still works. And they all use the same custom graphic, lol.
I fear it's gonna take a few days to sort it all out.

The images on my rings were backwards after patch. I just flipped the tga files of EgrasTR and everything is working fine.

Hopefully, they will switch it back if they unintentionally flipped it. Or if they intentionally did it they will let us know that is to be the new standard. I would be lame if everyone that has a ring that you can tell is backward has to go in a change all their TGA's, only to have to flip them back after it is realized that it's messed up.
Hopefully others have /bugged this, I have already.

sigh
target ring reverted to inverted and no spin after computer reboot and repatch ... still working it guys, sorry no fix yet... could be SoE needs to address the issue...
yes, you can invert the images, but thats like putting duct tape on a broken water pipe.. I want a solid fix hehe.. not to mention inverting the image doesnt fix the fact that the animations arent working either 8((
sorry for now guys~
