Erudite - Dark marble, steel, dark gems and rhinestones?
Iksar - hides, wrought iron, wood?
Human - bronze, wood, plaster?
Halfling - bark, flowers, hair?
Half Elf - iron, rough wood, (greens)?
Vah Shir - hides, sky, vertical lines on steel?
Just me.

What about basing off of class instead of race?
Warrior: metal, plate-mail-like (steel-ish)
Rogue: Dark, with sharp blade-edges
Monk: Wood, bamboo, Cloth, paper, etc.
Shadowknight: Dark metal with blood splashed on it.
Paladin: Light metal (more like platinum or silver) with bright light reflecting off of it.
Ranger: Leather with leaves sticking from it (think camoflauge-like, akin to pictures of US Army Snipers, etc)
Beastlord: Animal like, fur, claws, fangs, some shamanistic symbology, but not much.
Bard: musical scores & symbols
Cleric: Symbology and colors akin to Roman Catholic priests in the midieval era - irish crosses, whites, reds, greens, golds, purples, etc.
Shaman: American Indian & African shamanistic symbology, rings with beads, etc.
Druid: Wood, Leaves, vines
Enchanter: Energetic, the window "frames" seem to be made of magical energy.
Necromancer: Dark, Decaying, rotting, gangreneous
Mage: The 4 classical elements of earth, air, fire, water
Wizard: Lightning, Fireballs, Ice blasts

Group/Target windows
The group window doesn't really go there..just pasted there to keep image size down :P
As for class based textures...where would donuts fit in? :P I have something that might work for SK tho...

I was thinking about what the rings and stuff could have around them.... and the color schemes...
I had always thought of your donuts design being the "default" design, which is cool, but then to branch it out accordingly. I'd be far more interested in a skin that was for beastlords than ogres, but I guess it would REALLY have to depend on what you have in store for ogres.

Criticism ahead!
It looks pretty cool... buuuuut... it's very distracting to use. I'd use it to make screenies if I wanted to make it look weird, but other than that...
3 Bananas for the unique look... but that's about it =/

Yes, it is not easy.
1. copy the inventory XML file to your mod
2. copy the graphics files for the inventory to your mod
3. take out the parts that are for the inventory from the animations file, as well as possible stuff that is in the templates file, and place them in your mod's ones.
That last part's the killer.

I haven't. I've been thinking about right-click items.... but as I have to open my inventory anyway to put them on and use them, it's not been a real priority, hehe.
I *have* made containers that match the skin tho. and am going to get the loot window, and maybe a couple others also to match it.
