General Notes
If you are having trouble loading the UI, or are not seeing items properly. Run the "SparxxUI_Cleanup.bat" (see my patch notes for SparxxUI v14.1 released on 04-20-13).
Map Window Notes
For those that have just black showing on the map window.
1) Right click on the map window header, go to Background > Texture.
2) Right click the map window header again, go to Background > Tint Color (then choose whatever color you like from the color picker window).
This is an "any color" map window (helps on maps that are hard to read).

- Added melee skill and spell reuse timer groups to the Combat Abilities Window and Spell Description Window. Now conflicts can be seen without having to activate the skills or spells.

Mercenary Window
I was not happy with the last iteration of the window so I completely reworked the window, from scratch, again. I had a brainstorm as I was going to sleep a few nights ago, and came up with this:
- Created a new "switch" button (that when clicked) opens a new popup window that contains all of the items that were previously in the the "switch" tab.
- Removed the tab container in the main window (manage, switch).
- Removed Group Leader XP text, GLXP bar, and percent.
- Changed the text for the "Hotkey" button to "HK".
- Added new text label named "Assist" over the two assist buttons.
- Changed the text for the "Auto Assist" button to "Auto".
- Changed the text for the "Call Assist" button to "Call".
- Made the horizontal width of the window the same as the pet and cast spell windows.
The result is the smallest, fully functional Mercenary window available.
EQUI_TopLevelScreens.xml
- Added provisions for the new Mercenary popup box.
Group Window
- Changed the color of the AA and PT shortcut buttons to green. There are still many people out there that do not know I added them to the window.
Chat Window
- Tighted up the borders of the chat area(s).
Player Customization Window (Appearance Window)
- Sparxxified™ the entire window.
- Now optimized, and 1/2 the size.
- Removed close "X" on the border since the window has a cancel button.
Map Toolbar Window
- Sparxxified™ the entire window.
- Now optimized, and 1/2 the size.
Friends Window
- Sparxxified™ the entire window.
- Merged the Ignored, and Muted Tabs.
- Lengthened the whole window.
- Reduced font size to 2 on all elements.

New SparxxUI Cleanup Batch File
Added a batch filed to the zip called "SparxxUI_Cleanup.bat". The purpose of this file is to remove old/unneeded files in the SparxxUI folder. All you need to do is double-click it to run it. The following files are deleted (if present) with the batch file in the folder where SparxxUI is installed. They are not used in my UI, and are safe to delete. You can delete these files individually, but it is a whole lot easier to just use the batch file.

- Updated all files necessary for the 04-17-13 patch (the second half of the RoF expansion).
- Bazaar Window ~ Added the filter drop downs for prestige, and augment types.

If this is an upgrade install, you need to delete the following files in the SparxxUI folder if they are present. I do not modify either of them and they will cause issues if left in the SparxxUI folder.

Tradeskill Window
- Karneack pointed out that the trivial column on the Tradeskill window was not showing.
- Completely redesigned the Tradeskill window.
- Bottom right corner of the window will allow re-sizing (so you can move the trivial column if it is not showing).
- Added minimum dimensions to the window.

Mercenary Window
- Removed title bar.
- Completely optimized the window.
- Move Info, Set Owner (renamed to Trade), and Dismiss buttons to second tab.
- Renamed "Buy Slot" to "$ Slot" to save space.
- Removed "Stance" text and moved the timer in it's place on the first tab.
- Removed "Owned" text and move the Total Slots text in it's place on the second tab.
- Changed tooltip text where necessary.
- You can still double-click the stance to change it (the Set Stance button is optional).

- The Mini-Merc window was just too buggy to work properly. This window is now once again the gems window.
Selector Window
- Removed the Mini-Merc icon.

Thank you so much! I deleted all old versions of Sparxx and just have the newest one now. I can see my gear, and I don't have to use default anymore!

As orinwarf stated, it is much easier to just delete the old SparxxUI folder, create a new one, and extract the latest version to the new folder.
Remember that UI folder names cannot have spaces in the name:
Example 1: SparxxUI < Correct
Example 2: Sparxx UI < Not Correct
(You probably already knew that, just wanted to make sure)

As for your current dilemma, did you delete both of the following files from the SparxxUI folder?
EQUI_Animations.xml
EQUI_Templates.xml
(I am actually thinking about including a batch file in the download to perform old file cleanup if this ever comes up again)

On that note, is anyone else having any issues like this? Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

When I attempted a pseudo upgrade installation (overwriting the old files in my original SparxxUI directory with the updated files from this most recent version 14) I experienced the same troubles, even after removing the two noted files.
Instead of overwriting your original SparxxUI directory with this update, create a new one by unzipping the most recent SparxxUI version 14 into a new directory in your "uifiles" directory and /loadskin directly from it. That solved all such issues for me.

My husband and I love your UI. Thank you for keeping it updated!
For some reason, since the April 17th patch, we cannot see any of our gear or items in bank. I'm assuming its an issue with the UI because it doesn't happen with default. We did not have animation file in the UI like stated.
If anyone know fix, please advise. I was a mess last night raiding without my Sparxx UI lol. :-)

I am putting out a request for your best SparxxUI screenshot. I am looking for action shots that have the following criteria:
Full group
Something targeted (and preferably something on ToT)
Multiple extended targets (if possible)
Spell being cast (if possible)
Lots of spam in the chat window(s) < (I will blur out any names)
Basically, I want shots that showcase the UI.
I will pick a few of the best ones, and will include them in the images for this page.

Edit: Fixed the issue myself, however it might be the proper way. Loaded the EQUI_Animations and EQUI_Templates files from the default folder per a suggestion of another player. If that's not what you use (the default ones) please fix asap and i'll load yours Thank you!

Glad you got it fixed. I do not use the EQUI_Animations or EQUI_Templates files. They are safe to delete from the SparxxUI folder.

I try to load this update but it reverts to default. Says cannot load SparxxUI\ (maybe the \ is the problem?) I don't know enough about UI modding to fix it if it is. Help?
Edit: Fixed the issue myself, however it might be the proper way. Loaded the EQUI_Animations and EQUI_Templates files from the default folder per a suggestion of another player. If that's not what you use (the default ones) please fix asap and i'll load yours Thank you!

- Updated all files necessary for the 04-17-13 patch (the second half of the RoF expansion).
- Bazaar Window ~ Added the filter drop downs for prestige, and augment types.
- Tracking Window ~ Added filter check boxes for pets, and mercs.
- Went with my optional player window (the one that shows the numbers over the health, mana, and stamina bars).
If this is an upgrade install, you need to delete the following files in the SparxxUI folder if they are present. I do not modify either of them and they are not needed in the SparxxUI folder.

EQUI_Templates.xml

Maybe put the number of gold days remaining where xp is? Or somewhere else prominent so you don't have to open inventory and change tabs to see how much time is left.

You must be running older versions of both of those windows. Do me a favor and download the latest version of the UI and create another (new) folder for it and give it a shot.
