Ranger Drop box
I am looking for a drop box for my ranger.
Foraging is a pain when u have to bring up inventory every time to drop a foraged item u wish to keep. Does any one out there have a UI or a pice of a UI that will alow me to have my auto drop as a seperate window that i can keep up ?

Can't be done, as per http://www.eqgui.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2267
However, have you heard about the /autoinventory command now in game? Make a hotkey with your forage ability number in the first line, a brief pause on the second line, then the /autoinventory command on the third line. ie:
/doability 5 (or whatever you have your forage set to)
/pause 2
/autoinventory

I also use a ranger
I also use this social for my forageing and to reach max forages, I've also tied one of my movement keys to a hotbutton. I put my forage social in that spot and while I move around, I forage and train that skill.

If you open your options menu while logged in and go to the keyboard tab you can alter what keys weffect different game functions. Im not logged in at the moment but if i recall correctly there is a hotbutton section in the drop down menu. All you have to do is pick a hotbutton slot from that list, click on the alternate column which will then tell you to select a key .. hit one of your movement keys.
It should turn red at this point to inform you that more then one fucntion is attached to that key command. Taaa daa your done. Just make sure you always have your forage hotbutton there. I used to do this with my bard till i maxed the skills i had the key bound to. I forgot to remove it and spent 2 hours trying to figure out why certain spells were always casting when i wasnt hitting hot buttons =P

hot button
Yes he got it right, I use the options for keyboard and set a movement key for my first two hot button slots, ( I used the left and right turn keys). Then all I do is drop the socials that corespond to the skill I want to work there. I maxed track and forage for my levels as a ranger, also hide and sneak for my toon. I know peeps that have maxed disarm there and begging there also just have to be carefull with what you put there .
